Resolved Question: why are Americans starting to hate america?

It just doesn't seem right, why are americans so anti-america when we are the best country in the world, shouldn't we be happy instead of saying america is evil or the enemy? I mean, i get that other countries hate us, but americans should be proud of there own country and what we as americans stand for. For instance, just the other day in Beaverton, OR (my home state) we where thinking (and still thinking) of not celebrating the Fourth of July, not to celebrate the men and women who fought and died for this country and instead we are going to celebrate a Mexican holiday? (i have nothing against mexicans or celebrating this holiday) but shouldn't we celebrate our own countries holiday before others?. I mean i know we are the richest country, but does that make us greedy? simply put, america is just better and a better place to live, a place that steers clear of the communist, socialist racemes and dictatorships of other countries, instead america is the opposite, free to make something of yourself even if that means becoming the richest guy in the world (isn't that something we should be proud of? shouldn't we strive to be the best?) and for that immigrants have risked there lives for years just to have a chance to make something for themselves or for there families and to be free, to get a good education, america can make that happen, isn't that a good thing? Kinda sounds like america is a pretty sweet place to live if you are willing to risk your life to be here and just to have a chance. Is this assessment not true? is america really just a heap of land with a bunch of greedy people who just call themselves americas inhabiting it? is it that america is really such a terrible place that we shouldn't even celebrate our independence? Is america, a land of freedom and sovereignty (as long as we have it) not the best country in the world?
